Choose Life
Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God".
Some believe this scripture only talks of hearing the word by a preacher or teacher. It goes deeper than this.
Faith is so vital to our walk with God. It makes the difference between a shallow walk or a deep walk with God. It's your choice. It's the difference between large or small victories in your life.
The words we speak each day can be faith words or faithless words. It's the difference between blessings or cursing; life and death! The Lord says in Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth as witness today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live".
"Choose life" the Lord says. It's a daily walk and talk that with the right words brings faith.
When we speak our conversation needs to be in the realm of faith not doubt and unbelief. Life not death. Faith is the driving force that makes or breaks a person; makes them effective or non effective in their testimony.
The words of God are the seeds of faith. The more you hear the greater your harvest of faith. WE hear by a preacher that has the anointing flowing freely and richly in his life. We hear by teachers who have paid the price to obtain that free flowing rich anointing. We hear by daily conversation with people. That's why our conversation needs to be weighted in the scales of faith or doubt. Pray faith over your children-- plant seeds of faith that they hear as you pray. Pray faith over your mate-- plant that see of faith that will make the difference as they are out and about in the world to help them throughout the day. Plus-- and this is your blessing benefit-- as you pray the words of God out loud-- you hear the Word of God! Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God!
So speak the words of faith and defeat the devil at every turn. Cause the devil to tremble when you just look like you are about to speak!
Choose life today and guard your word!
